Honestly... No matter what, I just want us to believe, have a real crack and play our brand of footy tonight. Give no quarter. I would hate to lose to the cats more than anyone else, especially if Selwood gets away with some of his usual crap/one of our boys accidentally land on Hawkins' elbow, but if we lose, we know that we have changed the course of this amazing club FOREVER. This group is set up for a long time. In saying that, it's obviously a great opportunity and I think we'll win this by 29. Heart beats true. Let's go, boys! ❤️

Optus Stadium full - and not full of ferals*!!! *Well, I can't say that with any certainty, but at the least it's a neutral game for locals, so they won't need to bully the umps into any shambolic decisions. Plus, it's against Geelong, and I doubt there will be many non MFC supporters going for the Cats. So they're ok with me. Today.

The opening 5 minutes of this game are going to be very interesting. Did Scott keep a surprise tactical move or two up his sleeve for an inevitable finals clash? Did we save one as well? Did we show them too much in R23? It shouldn't matter. Our best is better than their best. And the geriatrics are surely running out of legs. We win if we apply pressure from the first bounce, give them nothing, take our chances etc. But nonetheless, those first few minutes will be riveting. If we kick a few, I'll feel better and feel less like hurling.
