  1. Exactly how it turned out though - Shuey just a fine!
  2. See I thought the FD scoured DL for what to do and then they do the opposite of what the majority on here think. That's why the FD costs have skyrocketed - compensation for having to read so much negativity each week!
  3. Isn't it funny - 2 weeks ago everyone was pushing for OMac to be the 1st dropped with Bugg hot on his heels, but both have had very good week. OMac is in a lot of peoples votes tonight (including quite a few who have him as BOG). Also interesting was that I thought TMac had his best game since he's been pulled out of the backline. Personally I think it'll be an unlucky injured player (Jones at worst). Watts in an interview with Fox straight after the game said he was only off as a precaution, so I doubt it'll be him. If Jones is OK then it'll either be ANB who played better today, but still had some of the worst disposal for the team, or else Melksham if the selectors didn't like his shutdown role on JJ (but I don't see that happening). Whoever is out will have to consider themselves unlucky, but then again having players good enough that don't play is a sign of a good team. Summary: In: Gawn Out: ANB
  4. 7 Team Pressure 6 Hibberd 5 O McDonald 4 Oliver 3 Watts 2 Salem 1 Garlett Unlucky - the other 16 players, Goodwin & the other coaches, selectors, team support staff Worthy of a mention: Demonland members and Demons supporters
  5. Yep got my matchsticks ready to ensure that I don't accidentally close my eyes for 2 hours straight tonight
  6. Close game now - but definitely not a good one
  7. Anyone else think that there's more free kicks being paid by the non-officiating umpires this weekend?
  8. Centre stage with a spotlight solo! And the judges all give him the thumbs down.
  9. Unfortunately don't like the chances of it being graded severely enough
  10. Dunstall: they missed the opportunity of Sinclair all on his own in a two-on-one! Not as bad as 7's experts, but gee not much better!
  11. Saints percentage was 96.57 at 3/4 time finished at 94.95
  12. I thought maybe they had multiplied the real figure by the number of games Brent Harvey had played...
  13. Ziebell celebrates his goal with the mazda bates hand signal
  14. Based on this game I hope the AFL withdraws the 20% player payments increase and takes 80% off these two teams! Absolutely disgraceful football...
  15. 8.12 vs 3.7 - 40% accuracy vs 30% accuracy. There must be a gale blowing at both ends of Etihad. I've never been to Etihad can anyone confirm this for me?
  16. Saints have been terrible so far tonight. No words to describe North's performance. Saints should be 80+ up already. Maybe the best way to describe the match so far is that North are doing better at ensuring that they lose.
  17. Can't believe so many of us are still awake to comment on this match
  18. Come on! I know teams like "repeat inside 50 entries" but surely it doesn't count if you're the team taking it back outside your own 50 - even if it is against the Kangas...
  19. Late goal to the Kangas means that the 16 point margin is about half what it should be
  20. I was waiting until they're 10 goals down, but at this rate I won't be waiting long
  21. We have no changes this week and that's after only 1 change last week. Must be the most settled we've been in a long time. Compare that to the Dogs who made 5 changes this week after 7 last week against the Swans. (Only 2 of this week's changes are players coming back from the week before so it is a total of 10 changes across the 2 weeks.) So this week 5 changes vs 0. And across 2 weeks 10 vs 1. Settled Dees vs very unsettled dogs. Why does that leave me feeling unsettled about our chances on the weekend?
  22. Short term a North win is better as it would then leave both teams a game and a lot of percentage behind. Long term who could ever know the way this year has gone.
