Does anyone think he may have failed the medical? I'm evidently not familiar with the process.. Obviously players get traded when injured so how does one "fail" a medical?

I've read on Twitter that "Jesse declined Freo". Is this what Ch 7 reported?

I understand that but it's obviously easy to say it would be great to get him here when Angus is playing for Melbourne. I personally can't see Freo letting go of Neale and Brayshaw in the same year but would be happy if I were wrong. I was more interested in whether there is any actual mail on this being a possibility.

I find it hard to imagine that being true. After the Tom Lynch/ Buckley meeting fallout, I can't imagine Gaff taking the risk of meeting with any other club officials last week - especially in the same week of his tribunal hearing!

Have you heard so from a credible source or just general noise? The noise around Melbourne getting him has gone very quiet! (Not necessarily a bad thing though)
