  1. Keilty will get a chance up forward tho to see if he can squeeze his way in.
  2. With all these added key defenders and the loss of Hogan I would bet good money on Dec being swung as a Forward next year. Its his original position and hopefully a few years as a defender will do him a world of good going forward. He can kick straight and the small number of times he played forward this year he was pivotal for Casey.
  3. Damn straight.
  4. Well deserved. I was sitting in the table with his parents and they were in tears.
  5. I think an important thing to know that many people don't, is that Hogan and Fyfe are super close mates.
  6. For those watching on TV how did Keilty look?
  7. Gutted boys. We tried, we really did but we couldn’t finish.
  8. Got $5 on Keilty to get BOG at $67 odds hahah
  9. Of the AFL listed, only Keilty and McKenna are yet to play an AFL game so you've seen the other guys. Keilty - has had a really strong second half of the year, was relatively quiet last week but was best on ground vs Geelong in the qualifying final so fingers crossed he steps up and has a big game today. McKenna - was a high draft pick and ex U-19 Australian Cricket Captain who has been plagued by injuries, has shown some glimpses of skill so keep an eye on him also. Of the VFL listed, Corey Wagner the ex North Melbourne player and brother of Josh has had a strong year, Jay Lockhart looks like a gun in the making and will probably be drafted this year, Jimmy Munro probably won't get passed VFL level but he is good to watch and loves the contest, and Machaya, Freeman and Lefau are all young guys pushing their case.
  10. Security Control Room Operator actually, work at the Train Station so ill leave here and walk straight over to Etihad for the game
  11. After today’s disappointment on the back of a phenomenonal year, I think we all need a big Casey win tomorrow. It’ll be tough, the boys will be down and the Hawks have a good team in, but I’ll back our boys in. Please get there to support the boys on their day!
  12. Well boys it’s been a fantastic year If we win this it will be a miracle
  13. Don't forget, good chance Bailey is super tired, played all but 1 game in his first year on an AFL list would make anyone pretty sore and tired this time of year. Would be interesting to see his running distance/effort numbers, they might have been down the last few weeks.
  14. Yes, no Schoenmakers. I was worried he was gonna drop back and give Keilty a real problem. Expecting the Casey defence to be really dominate now.
  15. I know there would be good reasons to replace Fritsch but imagine if this means he won’t play in the Grand Final? Gutted for the bloke
  16. Channel 7 just confirmed Fritta got dropped for J.Smith
  17. F*** Poor Dion. I know it was a stupid act but I don’t think he actually meant to hit him in the chin. I wonder who will take his spot.
  18. They will take 2 emergencies to Perth, but they'll fly back Saturday afternoon to be able to play in this game. King won't play (hasn't played all finals series and it seems his time is up) and there's a good chance McKenna will get up, so 12 listed. Last time we played the Hawks we had 8 listed vs their 20 listed and held strong until half-time when they ran away in the second, so even with a few Hawks players back we are in a better state then last time we played them. It's gonna be a tough game but definitely winnable.
  19. Selwood played that up SOOOO much, Jack didnt get anywhere near his head and they got a free for High contact. Amazing follow up with Viney laying the tackle then eventually the Jonesy goal.
  20. CARN THE [censored] DESS YYEEWW!! IFM ANYONE IS DRUNKER AND HAPPIER THEN I AM I CHALENNEGE YOU COZ WHAT A GOD DAMN WIN!!!!!!
  21. I have been been telling youse for 2 years.... Weideman is an absolute star, his VFL games have been insane and Key Position players take a few years to develop well....He will be a key player for many years to come, im drunk as hell but what a fan[censored]tasticgame by Sammy!!!! Carn the Deees!!!!!
  22. Not anymore actually, that got changed a couple of years ago. You can have any number of Rookies kept on for a third year.
  23. Just to put Dec's year into perspective (and maybe to try and convince myself he'll get another contract) I've gone through the BOG for the VFL the last couple of months and here is where Keilty got- (Before Round 8 he was pretty quiet so I'll start from there) RD8 1st RD9 - RD10 6th RD11 Bye RD12 Injured (Concussion) RD13 1st RD14 - RD15 - RD16 4th RD17 Bye RD18 5th RD19 4th RD20 3rd I know I'm biased but someone in the AFL team getting in the best's in 7 out of 10 of his games would surely be holding his spot.... Let's just hope he gets at least 1 more year and a chance to Debut.
