I have heard he actually wants to stay at essendon, but wherever he is next year, he wants 4 years and essendon only offering something like 2. He will undoubtedly leave essendon if he is offered far may elsewhere. Whether that is us or not, I am not sure. Personally I don't want to fork out the big bucks for him

You make good points DA.. I do agree that melksham was overrated incredibly by using our pick 25. I also agree with your comment about lumumba. But Hibberd is would come to us as a better player than both lumumba and melksham, therefore worth a better pick. Realistically, we will have to use our first pick. Do I think we will? No. Do I think we should? No. But for those interested in him, he is a very good player that will take a good pick to get him. Everyone knows Dodoro drives a hard bargain and won't settle for any late picks. I agree with your last suggestion. I also think that would please both parties. Otherwise, if we really want hibberd, perhaps we would have to include a player... who should it be/what do you think is realistic

How can you expect us to get hibberd with a third rounder, when we got melksham with pick 25. If we compare the players, hibberd is far better. Technically if melksham is worth pick 25 hibberd is worth pick 10-15. Not saying that is what I would give up for hibberd, all I am saying is he is far better than melk, who we got for pick 25.
