  1. Saw this quote tonight which I thought you would all enjoy: If you want to measure an angle, use a protractor. If you want to win a game, use a Petracca.
  2. I thought his selection was a strange one, but happy to eat a little humble pie. Did his job very well tonight. Certainly holds his spot for the short term.
  3. Someone mentioned it earlier, but how did the umpire justify calling play on for the Brown kick that clearly went at least 25 metres in those last 30 seconds? I've seen kicks go 8 metres and get paid.
  4. Couldn't have both? May at FB, Andrews at CHB?
  5. 22 touches, 8 marks and 450 metres gained. He has been a terrific recruit and is providing exactly what we need out on the wings - two way running. He is also hitting more and more targets as the weeks go by. Riewoldt said he has been 'okay' in an article today. He would now be changing his tune pretty damn quick.
  6. Petracca kicking four is what makes him a star. He might not have had the same influence up the ground, especially with Seb Ross shadowing him, but he was able to make a massive impact inside 50 which helped us win the game.
  7. And, if you go back and take a look, some shockers in the changes thread as well. That was a big tick for Goodwin tonight.
  8. We've got a real player there in Rivers. Love his dash and courage, and he is a good user of the footy as well.
  9. Also, for all those worried about match ups and so froth: The recruit of the season, Dan Butler, didn't hit the scoreboard and had minimal impact. What an effort from the back line as a whole.
  10. I can't believe it. I'm exhausted. What a massive, massive win for this club. We stuck at it all night and beat a prospective Top 4 side with a gutsy win. I'm so proud of the club. Trac and May absolutely massive. I love this club.
  11. EFWnhe2pfhn2eofqib2fip1ne2f-pi1n24 PETRACCCCAAAAAAAAA
  12. You can throw Langdon in there too. He's been terrific.
  13. Clarry has 10 contested possies. They haven't necessarily been good ones, but there it is. Gawn has had 9. Viney and Gus 4 each.
  14. I don't know either. However, we're in front. Defensively we look really good. First five minutes of the last term will be massive.
  15. Ha ha, how are we in front? Oscar and May with the turnovers. Hannan misses a spoil. Somehow we kick a goal. I'm confused.
  16. Firstly, what a soft goal that was. Who got nudged over? It was pathetic. Secondly, should have been holding the ball against the Saints on the wing. Absolutely dropped it... play on.
  17. Interesting attempt at 'lackadaisical' there, Rusty!
  18. No need to apologise mate. Yes, again, I've probably given him a little more rope as I'm a fan, but he certainly hasn't set the world alight this year.
  19. I won't argue that Jones should retire gracefully at the end of the year, but I don't think he's been THAT bad (outside of that absolute shocker of a turnover).
  20. Couldn't agree more. If anything, Goodwin has showed that he can put a plan in place. The slower ball movement meant we were playing the game on our terms and we were well in control. Then we gave away a free kick, had a horror turnover and then stunk it up in the middle. That's 100% on the players.
  21. Surely it's both. The set up wasn't good, but why is Gawn tapping it to that empty space? It's not smart football with 30 seconds left.
