It's lonely at the top. It's been a while now RBG that the media has been coming after us. We must be doing something right. Other clubs are afraid of us .

I think I'm starting to see your point. I did think Kozzys act was dangerous but not in a big way. It's the inconsistent decisions that are very mystifying and annoying.

Clearly the Afls are now drawing a line in the sand regarding head high contact. It's a joke they didn't do it last year. Their inconsistent decisions make them look like clowns.

I've never met Mr Bitters and I say this endearingly but I imagine for no reason whatsoever that he has a face for radio.

It's Not the state of the Union. I like the relaxed and as hoc nature of the podcast. The ums as you call them are a result of its authenticity. Lighten up.

It's so difficult to fathom how your club could just disappear. When we won our flag I felt so rewarded. Images those years of barricking down the toilet. -

I think we have this. Lions are a quality side just down in form. Plus they don't play well at the G. We should relish being on our home turf again. We will miss Kozzie but I'm feeling we still have enough fire power to kick over 100 points while strangling the Lions to around 75 points. Some big match ups in this game. I'm also hoping our midfield rallies and wins the cc count. And the umps give us a fair shake. We win this and it's a pretty safe bet to say we will finish top four come September. To go into the bye at 5 and 1 will be awesome given that half of those games were interstate. -
Why has Tmac improved so much? Is it easier to defend then play Forward?

What a win that was.

I think WA is a tough call. Most Gather round visitors are from Melbourne. The flight costs would be a big call to Perth.

Our backline is getting even better. -
If it's medium he should have got more than a week. It wasn't.

That's Just pure stupidity. As for Oliver perhaps the fact he's playing with one hand is a sign of his toughness.

I think as long as we keep answering our critics with our recent efforts they might leave us alone. After a period of looking harder for stuff to tar us with.

I miss his speed Good thing we've got Caleb Windsor.

Brown would get my vote.

SOSW to come for Kozzie. Not sure about sub. Has Laurie done a lot at Casey? Seeing Port smash Essendon shows what a good team they are. We did so well to beat them and then hold of a desperate Crows team in front of a record crowd and some poor umpires. We will miss Kozzie but Chin and Nibbler stepping up. Maybe Billings to kick true. He couldn't get worse.

I hope this won't be challenged. I'm surprised by Goody saying he won't ask KP to dial down his aggression. Third time now in a year he's been suspended. He can be the best player in the AFL but he's no good if he's not on the field. He's not only letting the/ team down but also himself. I want to see the best version of Kozzie. Also Jvr needs to settle down a bit. It was be very silly for him not to play in the Carlton final when we so depleted of players. Perhaps Viney can mentor them both about channelling their agro. I'm sure the fire in them is part of what makes them good players but they can become even better if they can he harness it. May is a great example of someone who used to have a problem in this area who totally turned it around. Maybe Goody will have a quiet word behind closed doors. KP is a very important player for us and this is an important game before our bye. It's also the second one he will miss this year.

He loves Greg Chappell.

I don't think they deserve it. The behaviour of Port supporters is atrocious and Crows fans entitlement is through the roof.

Watching the replay of a win is usually a great sense of enjoyment for me. I know I was fairly insistent about how poor the umpires were during the game day thread. Bit it was so bad I'm struggling to watch the replay. How could this happen. It was a full house but umpires can't be swayed that much. The amount of incorrect disposal not paid from our tackles actually looked like the umpires were blatantly cheating . It was so dodgy.

THE BUSINESS TRIP by George on the Outer
leave it to deever replied to Demonland's topic in Match Reports
Great write up about young Caleb Windsor. He has great peripheral vision of his team mates. After five games already seems a walk up start. Not a bad wrap for the kid to be compared to the great Robert Flower. I know technically Petracca was our best but Maysie gets the chocolates for me playing with broken ribs and in obvious pain. I've had just bruised ribs and it hurt to cough. How does one play Afl? -
I thought Petts was somewhat technique related. Like a backman he was always kicking very close to the man on the mark.
