Tiges fans have to accept the rarity of Three flags in a row. There not out of it yet but afl history determines they are on a downward trajectory. They had a great run. Now its simply our turn.?

I know Im enjoying watching footy again. So this is what some supporters of successful clubs experience most of the time. Wow.

Thanks for all the input to this Demonlanders. A lot to take in. All I really know is that my calls to replace Goody were way too emotive. And that I have never enjoyed watching footy as much as this except in 2000.

I have noticed and a few commentators have mentioned that the players seem to genuinely enjoying themselves out there. The celebrations are always there and so are the smiles and high fives. But winners are always grinners so its obviously not that simple but the club must have changed a few things to put some joy in it for the lads.

Tx for that. Hes been a star and deserves to have his name spelt correctly.

Why are so many players improving? Why have Salem, Tmac, Lever, Trac, Anb, Hunt, Spargo, Tomlison and Gus gone to new levels. And all together. Its a wonderful thing but what has been the difference?

Adam has gone to a new level this year.

Gus started poorly. Finished on top. Hibberd....back to best. Melksham....not top 22. May....showed Anzac spirit. Salem.....super super skilled. Trac... move over Marrin. Gawn...still number one. Jackson.....now number two. Anb....most improved player. Kozzie....will win games. Langdon....just so reliable. Hunt......turbo still firing. Lever....Mr rock solid. Oliver....our duracell bunny. Viney....there when needed. Jones...a true servant. Tmac.....better than ever. Rivers.....wise for age. Spargo...punches above weight.

How good has Hibberd been. He has not played all year. Came in last week and was one of our best. Last night he shut down one of the best ever.

We have one of the best full fwds in the competition who has proved he is back in form. If Bbb does not come in against his old club then we may as well trade him. Im sure he will get a look. Out. Melksham. In. B. Brown. Go dees.

His tackle in the middle in the first qrt was inspiring.

Love you passion DD. Great post. Perhsps the biggest take for me was how we performed on such a big stage. The last two years Tigers were premiers and used to big occasions. We have been struggling. We came to a night game with similiar conditions to a final and it did not phase us.

Me too. Nice sleep in today after giving everything I have. Proud that I left nothing in the fridge and just gave it my all.

Cant wait to watch the replay. In my minds eye I can still see the first 15 mins where they were smashing us everywhere. It was classic Tigers. We seemed at sea. Yet for the first time while a little worried I still felt more confidence than concern. Games of old my beloved Demons would have continued to get smashed. Not this bunch. They kept their heads and believed in themselves, each other and the systems and drills they have established. Come the next 3 quarters we the cream simply rose to the top. What an effort....to see one of the most touted teams sbout being the ones who folded under pressure. Tigers fans were probably stunned. Even with May who is still clearly not himself, we have the best defence in the competition. We used to leak goals left rifgt and centre now clubs are lucky to kick ten against us.

I was skeptical of Jackson with only o ne gial in five games and not holding his marks. Last night in the wet he doubled his entire goal tally and took some great grabs. For a big man his ball skills at ground level are fantastic. His athleticism and endurance are awesome for his age. Kozzie was somewhat quiet for him but still played a part. He is I believe the sort of player who is going to win games all by himself. Rivers is composed, brave and has very fast hands. Works very hard and always seems to be in the right position. Thank you Mfc for your very clever choices.

Every week we have a different player fronting up and going to a new level. Congrats Salem and Jackson.

Yea I thought so too. He was a sublime player 3 years prior and a big part of our success. He has come back to being even better. All the hype about dusty martin....it was Christian Salem who was the match winner last night.

I think we have matured to the point that being faves wont make any difference.
