  1. Love his speed and all things equal hell yes,..... but seven weeks out is too big a risk and i reckon the reason why.
  2. Nice. My daughter bought me the same for bday.
  3. I get the feeling this is going to be a very physical game with a lot of agro. No doubt Max will be targeted but I cant imagine Jv being silent about that. Harmes and Libba will probably duke it out. May will probably be pushed about with his hammy in question but he can hold his own. Hannan will be angry again. Tmac will probably and hopefully throw his muscle about. Anb, Trac and Lever never ones to take a step back. And finally Fritta to fire up. Can't wait. They can toy with Max at their own expense. Don't poke the bear, dogs.
  4. Sparrow v Jordan has been an interesting one all year. Very much like for like. I think Sparrow is more a goal scorer and gives more physicality than Jordan Feel sorry for Hunt but happy for Hibberd.
  5. Nothing to see. All good. Especially May.

Was Rosebury involved in our last clash with the dogs? The umpiring in that one was terrible.

My goodness. To think I was worried about Nicholls being on the case. Rosebury stats look scary.....minus eight for ONE game. Was every call he made against us? I wonder which game? Plus 44 to the dogs in eight. Booo.
  8. I am a little surprised at this. I thought he would move on. Credit to Sam for showing faith in the club and vice versa. He has the talent. I hope the club can bring out his best.
  9. As much as I wanted us to play port... there is justice afoot in that the two best teams are in the grand final. Cats and power are good teams that I believe only finished top four by the benefit of the home advantage they have. As such they were clearly exposed in the finals. Lions were late finishers this year that have an exciting brand of footy. The dogs although a better team got a little help from the umps in that final. On the two times we played we beat the dogs once quite clearly and the The second time I do believe in the wet conditions the fourteen more frees (25-11) was a shambles. In those conditions the umpires should let more things slide. If the dogs win I dont believe it will be by much. Our defence doesnt concede much. But there are a few factors that I think have changed since our last encounter. 1 Max. He has simply gone to a new level. He has displayed roving skills lately that match most star midfielders. 2 Jack Viney. Our previous captain has recently shown why he was in that position. 3. Our fwd line. Despite the experimenting its been long settled and highly effective now. The dogs less so with no Josh Bruce. 4. Our slump is well and truly behind us v the dogs not so much. 5. We played at Optus in our last game and not so long ago in the h and a.....thus we will feel more settled there. I hope the umpires don't get too involved. We are not slow off the mark and we don't kick too many behinds( scorewise😀). I also believe we have more players with star and wow factor than the dogs that will emerge on the big stage. And finally even though I believe these teams are not too much apart its is still a matter of Number one playing number five that history suggests will leave us victors.
  10. Petty and Smith would be good options up forward.
  11. https://www.afl.com.au/news/679559/inside-trading-big-dog-stefan-martin-hungry-for-more-demon-sam-weideman-backflip-tiger-matt-parker-lifeline-extended. No wonder North are shopping for a forward. How they let Bbb go boggles me.
  12. Wow. Hats off to those who knew that. You did point out the post that included the word nothing was close. Tx. Extra points for outing the players who played the whole game and were not injured?
  13. He's building the suspense.
  14. Im pretty sure the dogs will target Max at every opportunity. He has been a real standout player of late. The odd knee, push, arm chop and extra tackle. But this may lead to Jackson having a big day out. The same with our midfield. They can focus on Oliver but Trac may be the real danger. Also having Viney back in great form will be another problem for the dogs. With JV in great form, I actually think it is our midfield that is the real danger one. Our fwd line is much more dangerous too. Bbb has been quietly improving and may finally kick four or five. Im sure on the big stage Tmac will finally have an impact. He probably isnt percieved as a problem to the opposition. Bbb and Fritta will be their main concern. But if Tmac plays his best circa earlier this year, it could game over. Truth be told he has been a long way from his best but in a grand final it may inspire him to take no prisoners. I would love to see him crash a few packs and get a couple of goals early on. Aside the port game , He has slowed very much in his goal tally the last ten games. So some early confidence would be great. He is certainly a wild card in this game. Fritta is of course our most dominant scorer and hard to man up on but Kozzie our second highest has the wow factor that could cause some serious scoreboard havoc for the dogs. I just hope the umpires dont give us another 11 frees to 25 against count again. Plus if we jump out of the blocks the dogs will struggle as we are a team that has finished strong all year. Aside from Tmac, the ones to watch I reckon will be our smalls up fwd in Nibbler and Spargo. Both to cause problems as well. Our fwd line is working really well getting the ball to ground and locking it in. Because I believe our fwd line is stronger, I also hope conditions are dry. The dogs even though they have done it before have a a statistical disadvantage in coming from outside the top four. Even if it was by the smallest %. The travelling too may take its toll on them. Then again we have two weeks off after having two weeks off not long ago. This is very unusual. I wonder if it will have an impact. Bloody hell. Im really nervous two days away.
  15. I hope so. He was awesome earlier this year. Could be a real smokey in the gf if he can play his best.
  16. Great acknowledgement of the free differential which was amplified by very wet conditions. It had a huge impact. I think with Jv back to his best as well as our wings back in form it is our midfield that people should be recognizing as the dangerous one. I also feel like our fwd structure has finally gelled.
  17. Its funny that so many wrote the dogs off. The spent a lot of time on top of the ladder. They have an awesome midfield and some very good tall fwds. The reality was they had a slump at the end of the h and a. But they are a top team that gets a leg up by being favored more than any club by the umps.
  18. I was thinking exactly the same thing last week that I have never met a dogs supporter.
  19. Last time we played the dogs the free kick count was 25 to 12 on a wet night in their favor. It had a huge impact. Doubt that will happen in a GF. We were surprisingly very accurate for once in our prelim. Since we played the dogs we are a lot more settled up fwd. Im wrapped Jack Viney is in form. He could well be the the x factor.
  20. Also get the feeling Tmac is going to finally kick a few. Gf is the perfect time🤩
  21. Port biggest pretenders ever.
  22. So glad Viney is back.
  23. I wish Id followed my own advice pointed out the dogs were at three dollars twenty for some strange reason
