Man driving all that way is a great support effort. I hope we win just for that drive alone.
-
Is Spargo named sub for this game? If he is, don't think he's a great choice as his body type and skillet is limited to a certain role. Also even in his usual role his form hasn't been great so there's that too.

I complain about afl umps but sheesh what are these cricket clowns in white paid for?
-
Is Travis Head part Lebanese. That's an awesome cookie crumb catcher.

We were banned from going to that movie. Of course we all then went to see it

This threads getting worse.

And the second test rapped up.

Ouch.

Tx Jaded. We've had some big names out on a consistent basis this year from round one. Hopefully the run of bad luck stops soon.
-
Any news if Oliver will be available?

Traccas set shots are only slightly better than Max. As such it nullifies his forward prowess.

And was in good touch KB round.

Gawn Main Ruck, Grundy Up Forward?
leave it to deever replied to Young Angus's topic in Melbourne Demons
Makes sense to me. If Petty ain't going to be there, we need someone. It's really not working at the moment. In 21 , we had Bbb, Tmac, Fritta and Jackson. Now we just have Fritta and a young Jvr. Fritta is not a tall and Jvr doesn't have a big body like Tmac. I hope Bbb gets a run this week. Eventually I see Jvr as a chf and hopefully we can recruit a big ff . In the meantime I think we have Bbb, Fritta, Smith and Jvr. If Bbb doesn't work than Petty. We are atm playing just one tall in Jvr and while Jvr has a great leap, he's not a " big tall" at 193cm. So Max or Grundy there , when not rucking makes sense. -
You may be right. Doesn't it only rain in the center once every eighty years?😆

Agree Sparrow always looks like he's going to go to another level bit just doesn't seem too.
-
True but it's been a significant drop since sadly.

Given no Oliver and a completely under ready Petty, a dysfunctional forward line, we lost by 2 kicks at one of the grounds with the biggest home adv on the comp. It wasn't a complete disaster. And if Anb had not fumbled we may have just snuck home. Not saying there were a few players that put in shockers but we almost won.
-
After all that, we played reasonably well. Our forward line clearly didn't function but our delivery into it was poor. With a non performing fwd line we still almost won. We will make top 4 with our percentage and run home but I dare say we Must beat gws this week. Must! And for this reason I really wish despite all the good will, love and all, this game wasn't switched over a thousand ks away There I've said it. What's more important, the $ for sacrificing our home adv or maximizing our chances for another flag. In the end, more flags equals more moola.

I wish I could argue on the basis of his stats but I didn't see the game so I can't really insist otherwise. Cheers.

Collingwood at Kardinia Park
leave it to deever replied to samcantstandya's topic in Melbourne Demons
This cwood has more support argument is ambiguous. Kardinia park only holds a certain number of opposing fans. The fact is Dees fans miss out in attending as well. It's politics if we want the truth. cwood is a very politically savvy club. -
Nine marks is good enough for me.

Much appreciated, Dazzle for all the input.
-
What's the incentive? Is it more $ relocating this and does the travel fatigue and loss of home adv make up for it. Not for me. Plus it's another game this year loyal fans miss out on. All for sharing the good will but let others do it too.

I know twenty is a lobster but do we have a moniker for 100?

Of Oliver isn't up for AS game, would you roll the dice with Dunstan?
