To all the statisticians here, I'm just wondering if a team has comeback from zero and four to win a flag? (Hoping very much for the lions on their home turf next Thursday, to crush the filth). Thanks. And if they have, what is the magic number thus far, required for exclusion from a flag? Let's not forget that the Pies were a good side last year but hardly a spectacular one. Good start to the season but tired significantly towards the end and then just scraped through ALL their finals.

It will be very interesting how he's slotted back in today. After last week's performance, I'm feeling more confident. But it's early in the season. I didn't get all the pre season talk about Crows being contenders. They may get up tonight but they don't look convincing to me.

Oliver looks bigger this year.

Sure the Pies had a bumper start to the season last year but they fell away at the end. In reality they just snuck home with three iffy finals including the gf. They beat us in a final by 7 points when we had an absolutely depleted fwd line and were a man down. Just beat Gws by a point. And we're lucky in the Gf with the soft advantage call and just snuck home again by a kick. They were not a glorious flag team by any standard. Look at our 21 finals campaign. That's how it's done. Pies won't make top four and rightly so.

The umpiring standard was horrendous and it's the first time I enjoyed it. And if any Pies fan should stumble upon this post..... That goal from the boundary line ....the ball was definitely out of bounds.
