We are a serious chance this week. The Dome doesnt stir alot of confidence though. Id be thinking more in the margin of 1 or 2 goals in all seriousness.

NFL doesnt have a lottery. But I like that variety of it, almost makes it likely that 16th will get the first pick but not totally. The thing is, even if you bring in a lottery, teams will be accused of tanking games for more balls in the barrell. I think the only real way to stop tanking is for prize money to be awarded for each home and away game. Enough to make it worth teams winning over gaining a higher draft picks. Not going to happen though. All up, its probably ok as it is. You only have to look at past drafts to see that alot of drafting is luck. Plenty of top picks havent worked out. But then, a lottery would be entertaining to watch. Maybe. Im sure some network could dress it up for footy starved fools like me in the summer.

The story is that he is devout. I have muslim mates and they are in no way devout. Its a story because the commitment devout Muslims make and how he deals with that and his football commitments. They dont just rock up in church on a sunday morning. But yeah, its a bit of a beat up. But in being a beat up, it sits well with most of what qualifies as 'football' news these days.

I'd hate to think this could turn out to be another Chris Lamb situation. I'm eager to have a look at Newton but not at the expense of a senior player who despite everything is still have a crack. If he is any good his time will come. Hopefully soon. Its just good news to know there is a likely key forward talent emerging. Its a priority and can hopefully allow us to forget the disappointments of Smith, Rodgers and Molan.

I may have missed it, but I havent seen any Yze Magic predictions for this weeks game. Im still yet to work out if his predictions fill me with hope or dread. Mostly dread because generally the worse the team is going the more outlandish the prediction is. So with this in mind, lets see who can get closest to his prediction when its posted. Ok I understand YM may post on this thread under an alias and also that such a thread may preempt and influence any prediction made messing with YMs psychic abilities.........but what the hell. Im thinking he is in a 52 point kinda mood.
