I just don't particularly think people skills were there forte. I think we're still coming to grips with how KOTD we were to have had the likes of McGrath, Waugh and Gilchrist - not even to mention Ponting and a couple of handy openers in Langer and Hayden. They made the two aforementioned captains look much better than they actually were in my opinion.

Nah - we could've had both. One in the second round and one in the third. Disagree with this part of the post on a number of fronts. Number one being that Toumpass/Wines wouldn't have last to 13. Disagree because Hogan looks like a superstar of the competition in the future, something I don't see in Wines. Lastly, I disagree because I think the Hogan deal was part of what allowed us to get Viney in the second round.

Blease has the potential to be our most damaging player IMO. Just increase his engine. Could have a breakout year this year or next.
