Dee-tox, I wouldn't call that a "true" best and worst list, almost simply because it's a nigh on impossible thing to do. Petterd is a better player than Bell, Dunn and Newton IMO, but he would fall lower because of his injuries. Doesn't mean he's not a better player. Jack Grimes may well be one of the best players on that list, but he's a second year player having played 1 game. Again, it doesn't mean he's not a better player. The criteria and classifications really do need to be defined. A list cannot be defined by "potential," it's a "quality" that cannot be qualified

Rubbish. MFC knew Watts' intentions when they drafted him. Indeed, I doubt this is even an issue at the club, we're just making it out to be one. Life, and education, comes before football, he should be given the best chance to succeed in life before beginning his footy career

It works both ways. If he wants to complete VCE properly he should be allowed to do so. This will probably coincide with less availability to train. If he is training less, and as a result has a lower conditioning than is required, then I don't want him playing at the highest level next year. The club I'm sure knows this, and will show him the respect to honour his wishes, as he will no doubt do his utmost to play for us in the future.

A 17 year old year 12 student should be allowed to complete his schooling and play for whichever team he desires while he completes a very important year

All I can really say is, Wow! It must be one of the best matches ever, certainly at the Aus Open. The quality of the match is incredible, even after 5 hours and the weather of the last few days. (218 Kilometer serve at 30-40 deep in the 5th for instance) Incredible
