With the O'Hailpin one, it is an oddity but essentially these games are the first hit outs of the summer, the first for over 5 months. With guys jostling for position in the club and attempting to set a name for themselves, you can see how this sort of thing could happen. It'd be tough to imagine him being sacked for it

It's just a little bizzare to me that after all this time he's suddenly come out with this. Seems a little convenient too that he's claiming to have found a sponsor on his holiday, to which he coped a lot of flak for at the time and brought his reputation into question. Surely if he had found a sponsor it'd have probably saved his job anyway Certainly not what we as a club need right now.

Footy's would be a great idea, maybe a few Dees jumpers. I'd love to chip in. Maybe someone should get in touch with the club and find out the best way to go about it. Connolly would love it and would probably be a big help

I know this happens every year, but after I'd completely written off last year pre season before writing off this year sometime in August, I'm suprised by how excited I'm getting for the start of the season. Not just about how we'll be playing but that I feel we may be developing the core of a strong team. I just hope our development team can do the trick
