Not that it should be a deciding factor, but the Dees have only won 4 games away from the G in over 4 seasons. 4 of our last 29 wins that is, 1 of our last 15 wins. Meaningless stats that obviously do not illustrate the state of our list in that time, but I am interested nonetheless to see if we can start taking our "A" game away from the G. Even in our finals years, we won 28 of 40 wins at the G and only lost 8.

Given we've lost 2, it'd be pretty tough for us to win 21, not including finals.

It's my latest theory that most journos don't plan their articles, they just start writing and go along with whatever thought pops into their heads. This theory is supported by my own essay writing and the recent Kevin Sheedy article (to name but a couple).

What a win! A win to celebrate being a part of the Melbourne Football Club. Made all the better knowing that myself and so many around me had stayed with the team through the horror of 2007, 2008 and 2009. How good was it to know that you stuck behind your coach when others were baying for blood. For supporting the boys week in week out, clapping them off after getting belted, for loving the Red and Blue. This was a win to savour! Just wanted to share this link, I think it sums up what many on here already believed.. We're not there yet, but last night has showed us that we are on the path, and the path is good!

He's been all about the Dees since the Heroes Dinner in 2008 when the club got him back in the fold. I think he mended more than a few bridges that night and hasn't looked back!

Been saying it for years, the Dees fans are some of the loudest going around.
