Sam Weideman + contract
Correct, the problem was he wants to be in WA and NOT in Melbourne. The club didn't get rid of him, they traded because if he had stayed he would have walked out at the end of this year with or without a premiership, that so many people on this site think he would have delivered for us.

Training - Thursday, 6th September, 2018
Has anyone seen Jesse Hogan around the club or at the training sessions since we made the finals? I was there for about 1.5 hours on Saturday but didn't see him. Just interested that he has not been in the media or visible leading up to the finals. Would have thought he would be out encouraging the boys and having a profile and showing his support. Thoughts??

Changes v West Coat - Round 22
Then we need to trade Hogan. Four set shots at getable distance and angles two go through and game won. None go through we loss. He is never going to deliver on his potential. Just hadn’t got the right stuff!

Tom McDonald?
Also for Tom he is a big strong bloke (Tarzan) but for the last three or so weeks he has played like Jane! He lets the opposition players just run past with only a token effort to stop them and I can't remember the last time he shepherded for a team mate. If we can get something for him trade him and his bother please.

Glaring weakness in defence
Would it have been too much for the coaches to do a couple of training sessions at Casey leading up to this game, given we were going to play in Hobart then Canberra in the middle of winter. Surely that ground would have given the team a more realistic conditions to see how the game plan might work at windy, cold and possibly wet grounds ! That last quarter was school boy football mistakes, not playing in front when defending into the wind and thinking kicking with the wind it would all just happen for them. So I blame the coaches for not preparing the team and the players for not doing some basics in those conditions.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHRISTIAN PETRACCA
Based on this review result, does the MFC have the right to request another review on the Todd Goldstein pulling the ball out of the third row of the Grandstand in Hobart and kicking a goal.It was clearly over the line so how long after a score has been awarded does that score stand, is there a time limit and why have goal umpires if decisions can be made by some faceless person somewhere up in the Grandstands.....

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHRISTIAN PETRACCA
I agree with all the comments about Ollie and CP and the next three weeks will give us even a better understanding on how good they will be.Port, Hawks and the Filth will be putting in some added homework on how to nullify these two and also Stretch.
