I’d be interested in how tall and heavy Sparrow and Jordon are now. Jordon was 6’1 when drafted so he could have easily added a few cms and kgs making it harder to look ripped as he still developing.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
I reckon you’d want someone who can kick with pick 3

So if one of us played at afl level it is ok to make derogatory comments about players? I would consider that just as bad

Most clubs made a mistake passing on Grundy and letting him slip to 18. But this bloke is no Grundy. 100% do not take a chance on a tall ruck fwd unless they are a athletic freak and gun

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - MITCH BROWN
Can only assume we have a spare spot on the list and Casey need a forward
-
Tom Green (Drafted by GWS Giants)
So if green is rated as good as the top two why don’t GC consider him?

Preuss to Work on Forward Craft
He might come good in a few years but he shouldn’t be playing if Max is fit

I really could have done without watching that video. I feel dumber. Which is concerning if you know me

Deven Robertson (Drafted by Brisbane)
Can’t believe the afl hasn’t matured from the go home factor. Professional footballers wanting to go home. Getting paid half a mill a year and you miss your mates and mum? Grow up!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Thanks for the info! it is great to follow a proper footBall club, off field at least, that make sound reasoned decisions. Not making any desperate knee jerk moves. He will be made to prove himself off field and body wise and that is how it should be

Offer him a rookie spot maybe. see how passionate he really is. work in some targets to meet with a promise of a senior contract the following if met

Cornes Staggered By Dees Decisions
what is the fascination of 5 year deals? not like he is on a mill/yr. just locks in a good loyal young player. if we gave him a three year deal followed by a 2 year deal, is that better Chad? what a moron

2020 AFL Fixture
with crows falling that could be the bottom four right there. dream fixture

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
You might be convinced but I am not. I agree it seems genuine that he wants a contract for his family so he can get massages and train and live a comfortable life. is he driven to play and succeed? not getting on the park for almost 5 years tells the real story Freo took a risk on him years ago with his off field issues. it was a miserable failure. I understand there is not much risk for us but I do not get the excitment around this potential acquistion. let him train with Viney for a month over preaseason and maybe ill be convinced

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
I don't obviously. should have added imo at the end there. it will be 5 years since he played consistent footy. barring the most ridiculous run of luck with injuries I find it unlikely that injuries are his only problem. I am implying/wondering if he has done everything to recover/rehab over the last 5 years. showing 'passion' now seems to be me like he wants a contract as the gravy train is about to run out. I hope I am wrong but I would be astounded if he put 5 decent games together

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Having played little footy in the past 4 years the chances of him staying on the park in the future are almost nil. even if we pay him very little it is not worth it imo. pick a kid in the draft and see how he goes. he is saying all the right things to get a contract but he lacks the passion to play footy.

Friday Night 2020 (Demonland Lotto)
Zero Friday games aside from Anzac. Tigers, Pies, Dogs, St Kilda even will do better

2020 AFL Fixture
So before the fixture is out and many of us complain - what would people like in general between a favourable commercial draw or an easy draw where we in theory should win more games? A soft draw isnt as much of an advantage as it used to be. aside from the top few sides and GC, there is little difference between and 7 and 13th for example
