If we cannot land quality fwds, we may need to recruit a tall back and look to play Petty fwd We have B Brown (injury and age an issue) T Mac (injury and age an issue) Weideman (depth only, not best 22) M Brown - delist JVR - young kid, got potential May (quality but 31yo starting next season) Lever (quality and only 26) Petty (quality and only 22) Tomlinson (good defensive depth) Turner (young kid, got potential) Gawn (GOAT but 31yo at season start 2023) Jackson - may not be at the club

What exactly has changed since 2 weeks ago aside from the media focus?? before people start saying how big his ego is or all he cares about is money, maybe have something to back it up. Good thread. Expectations rise so much after wining the flag and then being 10-0. Will we go 2022 unbeaten the media ask? then we go 3-5 and our whole season is up in the air. I have certainly not felt the emotional highs of other years - even the bad years when a win felt so good as it was unexpected. And there have been very few games where I could relax and enjoy the win. But looking back over the year, you have to think how lucky you are to see Clarry, Trac and the gang each week. I used to lament us never having a champion midfielder and now we have two genuine stars
