  1. Unless I am blind I can't see anything in this link saying Melbourne is interested in Melksham? "AFL.com.au revealed on Tuesday that Essendon has offered Jake Melksham a new two-year deal, but the 24-year-old is weighing up his future amid interest from clubs including St Kilda and Carlton."
  2. I posted this in the Senior List Jigsaw Puzzle Thread but is relevant here as well. As we start to discuss our ideas for next season I have updated the contracts thread to so we have a clear picture of who is out the door / needs to be resigned. 2019 N Jones 2018 Brayshaw, Petracca 2017 Dunn, Hogan, Lumumba, Salem, Kennedy-Harris, Viney 2016 Dawes, Grimes (RFA), Watts (RFA), Michie*, Vince, Tyson*, Kent, M Jones, Spencer, T McDonald, Terlich, Jetta, Garlett, Stretch, Frost, Trengrove, Neal-Bullen, Newton*, O McDonald 2015 Jamar (UFA), Garland (RFA), McKenzie, Howe, Gawn, Fitzpatrick, Toumpas, Pedersen, Hunt, Cross, Bail, Riley, Harmes ®, King ®, Vandenberg ®, White ® * = Require confirmation...
  3. I'm the opposite. I hope we trade both away. 1 for a Dom Tyson kind of deal which sees a lower first round pick to come back in which could be used on Lavarde, Duggan, Ahern etc. and another to be used on trying to get a ready-made player from another club.
  4. From the Bound For Glory phantom draft. Pick 57: Melbourne – Oscar McDonald Position: Key defender/forward Height: 196 cm, Weight: 88 kg, DOB: 18/03/1996 Club: North Ballarat Projected draft range 50-rookie Player comparison: Jackson Trengove Oscar McDonald is one of the better key defenders I am really bullish about in terms of advancing to the next level. He is tall and athletic, and also picks off numerous forward 50 entries with his tremendous ability to take intercept marks and rebound strongly. Best described as a general in defence, McDonald – the younger brother of Melbourne’s Tom – is extremely versatile as a defender, and, unlike most key defenders, he loves to back himself and use the ball by foot. He hits the ball flat and hard, and has a really nice turn of foot, being deceptively quick over his first few steps. The Rebels have also used him as a key forward, and he’s shown he can be just as damaging at both ends. He has a fantastic leap, strong hands, a really good work rate and rarely ever goes to ground.
  5. Best Thread. Loved Roosy in the Media Conference getting stuck in to the unnamed recruiter!
