  1. On this point we have a few players that kick magnificently during these drills. Steven May hits targets lace out on the run with 40 to 50m passes.
  2. 1. Neither was on the track today. From pictures and reports the other day Vanders was on the track albeit on a modified/non-contact/more than just rehab program. I hope he re-joins the main group after Christmas but I have no idea what the actual timeline is. KK for mine is a big worry. Wasn't there today and has been sporadic in appearances or in rehab. 2. Kicked out on full or missed targets a few times in match sim. Wasn't concentrating on him during the session as there were others I wanted to see.
  3. I'll preface by saying I'm just making an assumption here but groups of 6 to 8 at a time were pulled from whatever main drill they are doing at the time to do intensive exercises described above (grappling, burpees, leap frog [pictured above]). They were then thrown back into the drills and in my uninformed opinion that was to simulate the end of quarters/matches and to get players used to kicking, handballing & competing when spent. These groups rotated throughout training even during match simulation. By the end of the footy skills part of the session players were understandably tired and hence the mistakes. I guess that's why they are training this way and as the fitness levels rise and they get used to this then less mistakes will be made. That's the way I see it but perhaps I'm way off.
  4. @Baghdad Bob interested in your thoughts on Mitch Brown.
  5. I've corrected your post.
  6. Who is Johnson? Did you mean Jackson?
  7. Richmond December 2019
  8. Neither participated. The rookies were pulled from the field to do the grappling, burpee, tunnel under their partners legs and then leap frog their partner intensive exercises.
  9. Weid was "playing" deeper. TMac was obviously not involved in the Match Sim.
  10. I'm not sure if that was a focus but I was impressed with his leading down the guts and he didn't drop many.
  11. Weid Jackson Size Comparison
  12. Two quick ones of the new boys.
  13. Had to leave but will post pictures later. @DeeSpencer, @Satyriconhome & @Baghdad Bob will no doubt post their thoughts and observations.
  14. Langdon with mids. Saw Oliver go off before match sim. Did not see an incident. Did not appear to be in pain or discomfort.
  15. Leads well. Marks well. Kicks well. I think we'll see him play this year.
  16. Can confirm. There was a lot of butchering of the ball in the match sim. Having said that there was some nice things too.
  17. Brown looks cooked. Has worked hard.
