  2. @picket fence is at training today and will be starting a thread shortly.
  3. 1. Geelong 2. Brisbane 3. Sydney 4. Melbourne “If they do not finish in the top four, it is a wasted era for them because they are cherry ripe in terms of the most top-end talent in the competition. “Clayton Oliver, Max Gawn, Christian Petracca, Bayley Fritsch, Steven May, Jake Lever, Jack Viney – throw Brodie Grundy in there, Lachie Hunter from the Dogs as well and there’s another young kid from WA in Jacob Van Rooyen who is flying. He’ll play just about every game this year. “I think they got the kick up the bum they needed. I think they got a bit carried away. They were flying halfway through last year and undefeated after 10 rounds. “If you look at a lot of the premiership teams, they’ve often made another Grand Final within four years.”
  4. Is Grundy present? He too was missing from Wednesday's session.
  5. Interesting no Fritsch. He must have an injury/niggle and was not rostered off as some posited, myself included, the other day.
  6. As you mentioned they were from December. I have been to 3 or 4 sessions since and there has been the same guy with a massive lens and I don't believe he is associated with the club and I haven't seen the photos show up on any of the sports photo service websites. Therefore I believe he is either a fan and the photos are for his private collection or a sports photography enthusiast or both.
  7. I don't think so as the photos never show up there.
  8. I've never seen this sign that Ross the Boss put up at the Saints training at any of the Dees sessions.
  9. I've seen a guy on the boundary with a zoom lens at most of the training sessions I've been to. I don't think he's with the Dees as there is a young lady who walks about the field with a big camera and a zoom lens and I think at times a monopod for stability. I assume he is either with the media or a fan or photography enthusiast. If not with the club I haven't seen the photos reproduced anywhere.
  10. Hopefully @picket fence is braving the hot conditions to bring us a report.
  11. If they are playing golf today then I guess there is no training/Match SIM out at Casey today. In the YoPRO video Trac and Clarry were narrating their day and they mentioned that the day (presumably yesterday [Thursday]) they rocked up to Casey and trained with a Match SIM and then proceeded to do work in the indoor training center including gym work followed by a lunch where they were sampling the new sponsors product and then the announcement of the new sponsorship. I guess yesterday at Casey replaced the usual Friday session.
  12. From the MFC Website on Wednesday 15/2 From the MFC Website Friday 10/2 From the MFC Website Wednesday 8/2 Many trackwatchers have given their thoughts on Jefferson over the Preseason. The common thread is that he has a lovely set of hands and is skillful by foot. He will benefit from a year learning the craft at Casey as was the case with van Rooyen. In addition he will most certainly benefit from another full preseason under his belt and another year in the gym building up his light frame. I have confidence that he and van Rooyen will form the nucleus of our forward line in the future.
  13. They might not be an apparel sponsor. Perhaps they are just supplying the players with nutrients.
  14. Coles and Woolies should have them. They are delicious and a good source of protein.
  15. No but they have a peach flavour in their high protein perform range and mango flavour in their squeezy yoghurt range so you can mix them together.
  16. I can personally vouch for this yoghurt as I eat it every day.
  17. Dismiss Carlton at your peril. Sure they have been a joke for nearly 3 decades but I think they're on the right track and will be pushing for top 4. That's my hot tip.
  18. It seems some very bad decision making in the late 60s and early 70s led to decades of misery for some on here. I at least had no choice. My black cloud was my birthright.
  19. Lyon rarely missed from the MCC members side boundary.
  20. I won't ask you for this week's lotto numbers then.
  21. He's one of those guys that goes under the radar but when you do notice him he is doing exactly what is expected of him. He defends well, is extremely courageous (as evidenced by his injury against the Pies) and never takes a backwards step. He is a great intercept marker and spoiler. He is the next cab off the rank if one of the big three defenders gets injured. At the moment I would have him in front of Tomlinson who I feel for as he too is in excellent nick and is an extremely hard trainer. We are certainly not lacking in the depth department up back given the acquisition of Kye Turner.
