"MELBOURNE's heart may beat true for the red and the blue, but for the NAB Cup it will beat red, blue . . . and silver. New recruit John Meesen yesterday unveiled the Demons' NAB Cup guernsey, which will double as its clash jumper this year.

The mainly silver jumper incorporates the traditional red and blue colours and the club's 150th anniversary logo."

The great Norm Smith must be rolling over in his grave!!!

    Yeah, it makes me think of the Lone Ranger as well. At least there are no plans afoot to change the club song to the William Tell Overture. I can just hear Dean Bailey stirring the boys up before the game with a stentorian "Hi Ho Silver, away!".
