Andy Lovell appointed Sandringham FC Senior Coach

The Sandringham Football Club is excited to announce the appointment of Andy Lovell as our Senior Coach for the 2008/2009 seasons.

Andy brings to Sandringham a wealth of experience at AFL level as a player and assistant coach. He played 121 senior games with Melbourne (1985-95) before playing 43 senior games with the West Coast Eagles (1996-98).

Andy was an Assistant Coach (Midfield) at the Geelong Football Club (2005-06), Senior Coach of East Perth Football Club (2003-04), Player Welfare and Development Manager at the West Coast Eagles (2000-02) and Assistant Coach at the West Coast Eagles (1999).

Andy Lovell said of his appointment.

"To be appointed Coach of such a proud and successful club is a real honour and I'm excited by the challenge that lays ahead."
