I’ve probably posted these elsewhere in the General Discussion forum, but I thought I’d put together a bunch of links to clips involving people who have helped me out on my journey by sitting in with my band on various occasions, plus a couple of unrelated clips of things I’ve done; the guitarist in the final clip was Mick Ralphs (from Mott the Hoople and Bad Company), first cousin.

See if you can identify the other musicians…

Yesterday was the start of fortnightly chemo cycle #6… pretty uneventful I guess, with my weight stabilising at 10kg below normal. One positive was that my CEA marker in my bloods, that measures the tumour’s activity, was down from 8 at the beginning of my last cycle, to 7.2 this cycle; what is considered the normal range is somewhere between 0 and 5, so I’m certainly heading in the right direction.

Of course this doesn’t give any indication as to what is happening with the traces in my lungs and liver, so I’ll just have to wait for my high contrast CT scan’s results, and that is booked in to take place on April 15th.

As I usually get zero winks of sleep on the first night of each cycle (thank you steroids), I decided to upload a lot of my photographs (not footy related) to my Instagram photography account, so if you would be so kind as to take a look (and even Follow me), so that I don’t feel like this effort was all for naught, here’s a link for you to follow:

Friday is my birthday gig, with many of my usual invited guests hopefully sitting in (Richard Bergman, Bob Spencer, Mick Daley, Terry Serio and George Washingmachine among others), so it should be a bit of a blast.

I thought I’d also post a reminder that I have set up a link to PayPal if anyone feels that they’d like to donate to Cancer research as well as to my birthday bliss (a 50% split); I’m treating my portion as recompense for my cat herding duties, whilst organising these gigs over the years!

I believe some very generous soul from these forums has made a donation, but my guess as to who it might have been, was way off the mark… regardless, thank you so much, whoever it was!! Much love to you!

For anyone else that may also feel so inclined, just follow this link:
