I with b bub - a so called expert in any trade should know what they are talking about. Ok the lists are huge when you are taking 16 clubs into account, but they should be able to bring up an up to date blurb on every listed player - surely with a laptop sitting in front of them this isn't too much to ask.

The conversation should then go "personally I have not seen him play but looking at the stats I have in front of me, Juice Newton does appear to be kicking bags of goals......blah blah blah.........."

Nobody knew who Allen Jakovich was either when he was kicking 8 goals a week in the reserves

And to be honest I am not surprised that members of the media don't know or have instant and immediate recall of every player on every list in the competition.

Sorry - I meant exactly what you went on to say - obviously immediate recall of every single listed player would be a little difficult but in this day an age, surely it is not asking too much for media representatives to be able to pull up a few stats on each player - OK Frawley did do this but it was all very vague.
