Woey, Alan Jackovich and Farmer, literally my favourites of all time had legitimate chances at goal of the year in in the league, not just their club.

But this year some goals, although not spectacular were the best I have seen at Melbourne.

My top 5 for the year.

1: Max Gawn after the siren to make us minor premiers. The worst possible spot for him but he kicks a captain's goal and we all believe.

2)  Oliver, who every single supporter believes in, streams through the centre bangs it through and ices the grand final. Game over.

3) Petracca from the boundary, important to note Pickett smashed whoever was about to tackle him. Selfless footy

4)  Max kicks 5 and I nominate 3 equally

5) Kozzie who kicks the most spectacular
