Normally I'd agree with you Song. Only reason the topic came to mind is because it is NHL playoffs time.

 

And full body armour including helmets and face guards

I watched an ice hockey game in Canada, many moons ago

At games end, two players squared up to each other. Apparently the two best players in the comp. The whole stadium knew it was gonna happen

Both of them removed their gloves and helmets. I asked my Canadian mate "why are they doing that"

He replied "it's a sign of respect"

Personally I reckon if your respect your own head or another bloke's right hook, leave your bloody helmet on

They then proceeded to whale into each other like a pair of windwills in a cyclone while other players & officials just looked on
