This is probably a forlorn request however I will ask anyway.

The Demons have had 30 coaches since 1897 and I have images for all bar the first two.

Alex E 'Joker' Hall who coached from 1907 to 1909 and again from 1912 to 1913.

Prior to that he played 20 games between 1898 and 1905. 19 with Essendon and 1 with St Kilda. He also coached St Kilda in 1906, Richmond in 1910 and Hawthorn in 1925.

Eddie Drohan coached us in 1910. Prior to that he played 75 games with Fitzroy between 1898-1902 and 96 games with Collingwood between 1903-08.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Only 30? The way we go through coaches I thought it would have been more than that.

Sorry - I can't help with the photos.

G'day Smithy.

Hope all's well up there on the Coast.

Next time you're in Melbourne, why not try the MCG tour. I did it about a year ago with the grandkids and there are pictures in every nook and cranny.

I think one of the problems these days is that people just aren't interested in our history any more.

The other resource to try is DemonWiki - it's one of the sites listed on our links section and run by Supermercado.

Thanks Jack, all well up here, no games in Queensland 2014 unfortunately for us, but we've had a good run in recent years.

I've checked all footy sites known to man on the internet incl Demonwicki with no luck.

May have to resort to newspaper archives or the MCG museum if they allow photography.
