Casey Scorpions v North Ballarat

Jamie shows us a glimpse of his talent every now and then but that's all, he just doesn't get enough of it or do enough in games. You can't give a player a game if he is continually getting 6 or 7 possessions each week.

Agreed, at the same time in the vfl he can pay his opponent no respect and get away with it, at afl level especially in our defense he has not been playing the aggressive defender role, but more off lock down closer to goal and stick on his opponent, he needs to find the balance at afl level of watching his manand fetching the ball! I'm happy with his 6 or 7 disposal games if he continues to shut down opponents, the offensive side of his game wil come I think.

He played on Matty Campbell and cut him out of the game. He's AFL standard - he wasn't playing on a nobody.

The only thing I didn't see was JB picking a contest where he was outclassed or outsized. So no reckless hardness as I recall, but definitely desire.

In the final minutes of play when he ran off the square and crashed into the pack hurting himself and an opposition play he did show that "reckless hardness". It was like he said "it's up to me". First time I've really seem that in him. It was great.
