I was speaking with Nev Jetta's dad at Etihad. He said Nev had done ankle ligaments and would miss up to 10 weeks. He reckons he'd need an op. Long time for ligament damage, and I haven't heard of an op being necessary,

Yeah, Glen Lovett had this Ankle Op years back when he was 19 or 20. Glen went on to have a fine career.

A pity for Nev as I thought this would be a good season for him. He's about the right age & years of AFL/VFL experience now to start to mature.

I hope he goes well as I see him as a keeper.
