I don't give a [censored] about the Kieran Jack thing to be honest. Sydney pursued him, there was a bit of an error due to communications issues across codes and understanding of the system but in the end they got their player - a third round rookie choice who by all accounts wasn't even looked at by any other club. He's turned out great. All power to them. Lane's article smacks of trying to land a big AFL story in the off-season in order to boost discussion of the AFL over other codes (see: A-League and the Brisbane streak, Harry Kewell, Victory instability, Heart challenging).
