Sub against West Coast?

Featured Replies

Exactly the points I made last night.

Bennell is very much a burst player anyway. He is the perfect sub prototype in that you can throw him down back, in the middle or up forward and watch him burn the track.

Having just watched the replay of the last quarter (gotta love being on holidays!), Watts did a few very good things and he just has to keep playing.

Dunn on the other hand was pretty poor. Made some poor kicking decisions and didn't go hard enough when required.

I'd bring in Petterd for some fresh legs and I think he too would relish the wide spaces.

Agree - Pettard gives us another dimension, just not sure who misses out B)

Correct, nobody.

Morton is one of those players that will never be anybody, if you pay attention to Morton, you'll understand that he is the biggest cheat. Taking a punt and drifting forward off the pack, and your man, for the next cheeky little uncontested get and uncontested goal is fine.....against the Gold Coast. No hard ball, nothing silky, just lazy goalkicking practice.

Guarantee that on the wide open spaces of Subiaco, against a better quality side, you'll all be shouting at the TV - "whos on him", and you won't know it there and then that Morton is, but Morton is at our end of the ground on the forward flank.

I agree we need those players, but they need to take care of their man first and foremost. For every cheating Morton, there is an increase in opposition numbers around the ball and thus an increase on the chances of an opposition clearance and Morton becomes useless. Morton = 0. Simple mathematics.

Why do all our players need to "stick" to opposition players?

Maybe Morton is one of those players that does this and will drag an opposition player out, you cant allow anybody to kick "three easy goals" no matter what team your name is

It has also been mentioned by many people that Morton seems to be a smart player, and KNOWS when he can draft forward, and you may also find the he does this with hard running
