Really pleased to come across this thread, SydneyDemon as Im suddenly committed to fly into Sydney to see the new bay-bee.

Having kissed the missus' relos and handed out the cigar,I will be looking for a pub and a fellow demon fan on/near Glebe pt Rd.

If there are any suggestions please give me the drum.

Unfortunately Alexandria is too far. cheers (go Danny Hughes!)

The Camelia Grove Hotel is actually quite close to you as Alexandria is a mere hop, skip and a jump from Glebe Pt Road. Otherwise The Forrest Lodge could have the footy on but there are no guarantees tonight that you won't be watching the rugby league test at most Sydney pubs! See how you go but you will be most welcome at the Cammy.

Thanks SydneyDee

i will see how I go. i hope to catch up. cheers

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
