I think there would be nothing wrong with a female umpire of any sort as long as they are competent (as the current female goal umpires appear to be). Indeed I have no objection to female football commentators as long as they are competent and authoratative.

The problem with this one she is neither.

    I didn't and have only seen highlights, but still managed to hear Dwayne Russell, on the topic of a man battling gambling addiction kicking his 3rd goal, make the call that he now had "3 of a kind"
