12 tackles this round is the highest in the AFL aswell

2 weeks running

not a bad effort

our midfield is looking more balnced

In an earlier thread a couple of weeks ago, I said I hadn't seen what others were seeing him in.

Just wanted to say I see it now, not going to make any big calls but I am looking forward to seeing him develop and watching him for the remainder of the season.

And, as others have said, knocking back a spot on Adelaide's list to stay on our rookie list is a very loyal move.

Jordie was injured for the majority of his final year at the Falcons.

Didnt get much chance to show his wares to recruiters and his previous year was solid without being outstanding.

Edit:

I think he had chronic shin splints, but I can't quite remember.

At the halfway mark of the season each team is able to upgrade a rookie to the senior list regardless of LTIs.

He is an absolute cert to keep his spot, even with our weak ruck stocks. It might mean Gawn or Fitzy play rapier than expected, as Spencer won't stay up this season unless another injury occurs.

Jordie's success has effectively killed any chance Newton, Hughes or Healey have of surviving.

Jordie is a bloody beauty, missed alot of 2008 after having hip surgery, had some bone spurs removed. only played a handful of falcons games that year. Falcons were going to play him as an overage player for 2009 if not drafted. Budda loved him from all reports. he played in a Hampden Premiership in 2008 after the falcons were knocked out. he had about 15 tackles then against some big blokes.

great kid hopefully a great future.

as for that clown saying 2nd to the pill. melbourne finally found someone to put thier head over the footy and get their hands dirty, everyone looks great getting all the handball recieves and then kicking long. show some nuggets and go get involved like jordie.......

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
