Just for those of us too young to remember this game (ie me) what did Green actually do in this infamous final. I can't even remember Carlton even being in finals.

Carlton were a perennial finals participant in the 90s.

We came back from a great deficit to defeat Carlton at the last gasp in the 2000 prelim.

Many (read: the media) were predicting and hoping for an Ess v Carl GF after the classic match the previous year that lead to Carl getting flogged by North in the 99 GF.
