Cale Morton on SEN

Featured Replies

good call, has a similar tank to richo... i don't want to see him play as a genuine centre half forward, but he needs to be able to drift forward often and provide another target... with a little more weight on him and his height, he'll be very hard to match up on...

No other player on our list excites me more than Cale. He will be a star!!!

At 19 years old there isn't much more he can do to put on weight, as he said he just needs to eat as much as he can and do plenty of weights at the gym. He's got a wonky kick on him but i'm still very confident that he'll become a star of the future Melbourne midfield.

I had to laugh at the end of the interview when Liam Pickering said, "he's got captain material written on him, very smart kid" and i'm not so much laughing him, it's more that right after evey interview i've heard with one of "Melbourne's young guns" the interviewers always state that they are captain material!

he needs to consume more protein

there's no way he can hold down a key position at 193cm, 86kg. He is only 82kg at the moment. Can't believe he has only put on 4kg in 2 pre-seasons..wtf

Some people are just dumb. His body is still growing which was proved when he said he had grown since melbourne drafted him. When your that young know matter what you do or how much food you eat your body will take its own time to build up. its obvious that the club have decided to give his body another year to develope and let him ease into it. Thats why young players these days get osteitis pubis because they stress there develpoing body.
