Well it has happened again. And it is not even a Swans game this time! (Bris v StKilda!)( I would complain officially but I would just be wasting my time.

On the bright side...the last time it happened we won!

Good omen?

(From 3 weeks ago)

"Typically both Foxtel and Seven are showing the same game on Sunday in the ACT and NSW

... Sydney v Bulldogs.

Ridiculous!

On the positive side it will probably mean that we'll have our first win.

Replayed on Foxtel at 7:30pm and Seven at 11:59pm

Thank you very much AFL!"

At least time their not pretending to have it live to air only to find out it's available on 7HD only.

Still totally sux!

This is pissing me off so much, it is getting absolutely ridiculous.

I had to listen to the Freo game on radio, and as excited as I was, it is not good enough to have the same game televised on two different broadcasters, when another game goes untelevised.

Yeah I spent the afternoon screaming at my computer while I streamed the MMM radio broadcast from Melboourne - it's ridiculous. How can 3 stations with broadcast rights not give us the game live!

That would really [censored] me off.

Evertime we play down here it's on TV, but im at the game. When we play interstate it's on foxtel and the Mrs won't give the TV with foxtel up :S

Like I said...I would complain but

1) I don't know who to

and

2) I doubt they will listen

You sure they're not showing it on Main Event? I lived in Qld the last 4 years and that's what they'd normally do when this sort of scheduling occurred.

No, They have Mainevent showing the Friday Night game and the Dreamtime game on Saturday. No mention of a Sunday game.

Because it is actually a Channel 7 game. So really it is Channel 7 (ACT,NSW,QLD) that is to blame.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
