It would really make me happy if we could sign and secure Clinton Young in the red and the blue next year and the years to come. Young's left boot is a real highlight and i know he would fill the gap at Melbourne that Davey used to do, the person where you give the ball to, so they can hit the target spot on. Young is a silky left boot, reads the game well and i think with some more hard discpline under Neeld could really star for us. I understand the match he played in the Grand Final wasnt his best one, but neither did Roughead and Cyril Rioli, doesn't mean he isn't a potential gun. Melbourne could benefit a lot from Young ... and would fit perfectly on our half back flank.
