On the April 30 edition of the Run Home Gil McLachlan responded to questioning that he had been thrown under the bus this in relation to the Melbourne tanking allegation.
If you listen to Gillon McLachlans response which is at timestamp 3.05 of the digital file on the SEN Facebook page he said
The reality was our rules diddn'twhat they were found guilty {of} was not technically tanking under our rules and yet Melbourne suffered reputational and financial loss of $500,000.

Now that the CEO has admitted that the punishment of Melbourne was literally unlawful and given that the AFL has now shown itself capable in the Viney case of admitting its wrong and correcting an injustice isn't it time that the AFL reversed itself on the tanking matter?
Justice delayed is justice denied and a new era of fan focussed AFL leadership would be well served by the reversal of an injustice.
