Had a good chat to Nev Jetta, another week at least, in the hands of the doctors, he did the full session, had to wear the orange vest (no tackling), but being Nev wore it as a neck scarf. Dawes trained strongly, said he was right to go. McCartney said "poor pressure, selfish footy, Fremantle players allowed to do as they pleased" as he walked past me, obviously from the review. The drills were again about stoppages and ball movement, again with more and less defenders. Both Pedersen and Dawes joined in the ruck work with Stafford today. Spoke to Jack Fitzpatrick, embracing the role as a FB, enjoying it, still feels the urge to go on the lead now and again, said he still has long way to go and has lots to still learn. ANB again pulled up really well from his first senior VFL game, looking forward to the weekend to improve on last week. No signs whatsoever of breaking into any recognisable team during the drills, all mixed up, and when they broke into forward/mids/defence at the end, no surprises, everyone where they should be.....(McKenzie again with the backs).
