I was critical of the Leading Teams process and believed it was adding to the toxicity of the playing group by empowering them too much under Bailey. I was glad that Neeld removed it when he arrived at the club.
Now I'm not so sure...
Is it the lack of process to enable the players to ask each other the hard questions (Geelong 2006) that is part of the problem here? Is Neeld lack of trust in the playing group eating away at their confidence so much that they've lost their voice?
What leadership program is in place at the club? Whatever it is, I believe it's failing and in need of an urgent review.
