so the commentators had a feeling also.wow not picking your posts for any reason as such. they got enough and quick enough after lunch,if there was a slow scoring panic, they wouldnt have batted down as far as they did. also the "commentators" also mentioned enough runs were scored and no more were needed at about 450.lead. so "time" couldnt have been a factor. also ,what was your "feeling"of seeing pups "body language.mmm you have a dip at me about my feelings, but your "body language" reading is ok .is it "mate" just an opinion, enjoy travel free wednesday.

great understanding of the game. bloke playing his first test, not enough runs in front as yet.plenty of overs left, can get fast runs after lunch. got a feling the coaching staff, captain wouldve sent out the message if they wanted doolan to run himself out or get on with the game. also think warner would have blasted him about strike rate or balls faced if needed. next you will ape the media and tell us about "brave innings"

said this months ago, best all rounder since sobers. couldnt beleive he retired. we are now o/100 and the towel seems to be well and truly thrown in. just hope thier top bats put up the class they have shown in the last 5 years.

thats what i was alluding to. was amazed that clarke and harris actually left the field immediatley . thought they would have stood thier ground until the umpire told them to get off. chappelli would have done this ,firing up the pitch.

first time ive ever seen this.small advantage to the aussies. starts to rain and the players rush off the field. normally worldwide the staff run on the oval, before the players even have left and cover the wicket from rain. not in capetown, after 5 minutes of rain they finally get the first cover on amid a howling gale,it gets blown off numerous times as i sit and watch rain drops continue to hit the pitch and give it somne new life.especially when it starts to sweat under the covers. definately small advantage to the team bowling today.

yep all good macca. we desperately need another bat in the team. smith needs another 15/20 innings to be classed as a test batsmen,[leading for a long time ] but i hope doolan cuts the mustard as we have a weak batting order with a very slim future at this stage,so a no3 may keep us in the game along with smith for the next 6 years.

doolan looked ok. just about all over when the best bowler for the springboks is injured and the aussies 3 /3??. watto made to bat 6=love it sidds =bad luck after carrying team for 4 years, but thats the way it goes.been a great workhorse

couldnt understand why his confidence was shot by selectors, when they dropped him 3 times. makes it hard for him to come back. watsons bowling will once again cover some cracks. your right again rino,we did win the first test.

i sit at the back of the interchange area. most concerned dee fans dash out the back for a durry at the breaks and talk tactics. theres a dee bloke out there with his durry and always talking JW hope and glory. looking forward to a top year in our games at the dome.

people have overestimated the poms. they didnt want to be here and it showed. the results and runs made were nice if your a supporter, but the result was far removed from our standing as a team. the cracks in the top 6 were there for all to see. if you take away the last ashes,we are still an average team. the selectors still insist watson is a top 4 bat,hes not. im not sure about warner[yes hes popular]most dropped player in history and still plays the reckless shots outside off. rogers, doing ok and we need him until we uncover a real opener. marsh.jury still out[im told hes a headcase] doolan, needs time and tests.but our selectors can be over anxious at times.

yep agree with that. but top 4 is very average.and pup must have a sore back[again]. bird seems to have some good supporters in CA.they think hes the next big thing and sids may be on outer[i rate him though]

cant see a way out of the top 4 batting woes as yet. lyon has just been terrific in the last 12 months. warner continues to get dropped by sub standard fielders. when the tail dont wag ,were in all sorts of trouble as usual.
  16. jazza replied to Whispering_Jack's post in a topic in Other Sports
i think davey warner will go down in history as the most dropped batsman. could actually eclipse david gower.

plus the indian fielding is non existent, bowlers must cringe at the sight of a soft fielder not diving over the ball and just slowing up so the pill beats em to the boundary, absolutely rudderless overpaid cricket team. on the other hand SA lost smith early then amla[good aggott] and gritted their teeth and dug in,not fancy just good old fashioned dig in and never give up.

mmmmmmm. their was a lady with red hair,PH she put up a proposal to send every bit of nuff nuff english trash back home. unfortunately didnt get the popular vote ,to make this dream come true. there is nights when i have a cuppa on the porch and hope we can send the commision dole bludgers back. not be atm. maybe we will vote for a dictator one day and get our own flag ,this could be the catalyst for sending back the trash.

SA.cant believe the dropped catch of warner at fine leg, schoolboy stuff. johnston, simply unplayable. pitch, havent seen grubbers since MCG[1980s] SA.batsmen not wanting to get behind ball. doolan,2 of the best short leg catches ive seen for awhile. i thought this was going to be a contest?
  20. jazza replied to Whispering_Jack's post in a topic in Other Sports
quick update were 2 far warner played a shocker of a shot his opening partner however copped a rib tickler.unavoidable theres 46people[including players] at the game and the pitch looks grassy and might give a bit morkel looks faster than anything our players have faced for a while.

your right about crowds. same in SA,the crowds are rubbish[might be different against us]. same in india,wi,sharjah, 20x20 has killed it,along with slow over rates and a lack of class spinners watto injured again=lucky we took hughesy, even luckier thier spinner cant spin
