The kid is good, great below his knees, doesn't fumble, good evading skills and can read the play. Regardless if we are giving overs, does this kid walk into our best 22? Most of us believe we should chase players to make us better, he will.

If he decides to stay, surely the club has a plan B although that wasn't evident during some games this season. I can't think of anyone else the club would be targeting if this fails.

According to the AFL site and Richmond they have given up the chase for Schache.

It's obvious the FD rate this kid as most of us on here and if takes that much to get him so be it. 600k probably won't do it per season but if they believe Lever will make us better I'm all for it. I know nothing about the contract status of other Crows players but you would think their stocks would rise if they win the flag so it will be interesting to see if they offer Lever similar money to us.

Within a couple of days he will be here, on Friday we should all turn up with our red and blue scarves and welcome him.

Let me tell you what my Crow friends think of Lever. A slow unaccountable 3rd tall intercept defender who is crap one on one but the same people would like Oliver, Trac, Brayshaw or Hunt in return.

Does anyone have a contact within Australia post? If so, ask them to quietly check if Lever has redirected his mail.

As much as I dislike Geelong, I hope they finish the Crows this week. Just end this saga.
