  1. 15.28 Maybe he’s telling porkies, there’s a clear 3 under the 2 next to Grundy. Nic Nat was clearly a 2 before a 3.
  2. @LMAO , ruined a good coffee this buffoon. As good as Mr Press Red’s comment on the Collingwood show last night. “ It’s great having a Brownlow Brodie run around”.
  3. The comment was made to get some giggles on here, although IMO OMac has been very good this year and it’s not silly to suggest he should be in the conversation. He did ok on Brown, yes he did get shoved out of the way easily two times by Brown and I certainly don’t blame the other backs for that. He still has some development left in the one on one aspect.
  4. Building him up for.... Fitness? Confidence? So....he wasn’t fit? Is it utter rubbish? It must be, because he told you.
  5. Wrong, just plain wrong! The list that is. Jetta’s made a name for himself, now that he’s in there on reputation more than his form probably warrants at the moment. OMac should be in there too and is Whitfield a defender now?
  6. Was wondering when you would pop up? Your mail has been spot on lately.
  7. If today’s game is anything to go by Macca, the Vegas vs LA series could go down to the wire. Vegas more than held their own in the hit department but could that wear them down if it goes to 7? They are one of the quickest skating teams I have seen, Vegas started the game well but gradually the Kings started to create scoring chances not so clear cut though, Fleury was great in goals for Vegas on the back of some good defensive plays by their D men. LA needs Muzzin back ASAP, he’s a big loss, especially from an offensive production aspect. I hope the Leafs knock those Bruins out in 4. Game 7 back in 2013 between those two was one of the most heartbreaking games I have ever seen. Leafs up 4-1 with 10 mins to go and lost 5-4 in OT. Many would agree that playoff hockey is one the most exciting spectacles on the planet. Tipping Nashville to win the Cup.
  8. I saw a caption on TV a little earlier Macca, I believe it was from the Waller camp, in their opinion, there are 4-5 horses that can beat her in the race. Also, some rumours earlier in the week on radio and one article on racing.com about the Queen Elizabeth being her last start possibly. Have you heard anything similar?
  9. Our first forced out. Almost insulting that Garlett is on the extended bench.
  10. Ha Ha Macca, it felt a little like cheating by suggesting Almandin early. This is more of an option being “safe”. Funny you mentioned “Handsome Thief”. I almost made it my “ Best”, didn’t want to disrespect the Great Zephyr , odds are very short too. Nice pick “Hiyaam” by the way.
  11. Foxtel showed some footage on AFL Tonight a short time ago of Viney, TMac and Vandenberg from Goschs this morning. The footage showed Viney and TMac in runners.
  12. Yes, spot on, a guaranteed seat anywhere in the allocated area. Passes or at least the info on how to access the pass will be emailed out closer to the game.
  13. Love the NHL, no Blackhawks this post-season. Looking forward to the Maple Leafs v Boston series. Maple Leafs owe them big time from a few years ago.
  14. Spoke to the club a short time ago, the $10 upgrade for premium seats is a pass to get into the Level 1 (wing) area, not a reserved seat if anyone was wondering. If anyone plans to take this offer it’s best to ring the club to get multiple tickets as processing it online will require you to purchase upgrades one membership card at a time which will probably cause headaches.
  15. Going early fellas. Best Bet: Randwick Race 8 No.1 Almandin. Currently $4.20 with TAB, hoping the “Class” factor gets him home. Tricky fields once again and found it hard to identify a standout. Dan Zephyr returns. Caulfield Race8 No.9 Connections were happy with the way the horse hit the line last start. Can’t draw a barrier to save its life, drawing wide (12) again. Last night odds for Dan showed $51, into $41 this morning. Maybe the plunge came on the back of a humorous twist. The horse hasn’t won for 17 runs, yes folks, a 17 run losing streak, sound familiar? “Nobody beats the Zephyr 18 times in a row”.
  16. Salem to run with Mitchell and Hawthorn jumpers to remain looking like poo.
  17. Interesting, I saw Gus getting held onto off the ball and at stoppages early in the game a couple of times and I automatically thought he was the one getting tagged. Thanks for clarifying PD.
  18. Training was listed for tomorrow but the MFC site states the open session for tomorrow has changed to a closed one at another venue.
  19. It could well be @DV8, it was moments like that where one goes “wow, I wasn’t expecting that”. The other big “wow” was Petty, but still early days for him.
  20. Was that the Pure Footy hour on SEN today DD? I’m not sure what his name is but he went on and talked about quantity ( forward entries) vs quality ( scoring from forward entries). Please correct me if I heard wrong, he stated that Richmond and us are standouts in this stat so far. We both rank in the top 4-5 in the comp. He also made a mention about our forward structure, how we like to mix it up and cause opposition defenders to second guess themselves. For example, Hogan up the ground, Trac deep, then change it when Trac goes in the middle and Hogan goes deep again. Kind of a revolving forward line. He said there’s no right or wrong with a system like this and he compared it to Adelaide where their set-up is almost always Walker, Jenkins and Betts as forwards. In regards to our forward pressure it was interesting to hear that Pedersen was ranked as elite in the first two weeks along with Garlett. Fritch also rated highly in that aspect. Apologies if this has been posted already or not belonging in this thread. It was interesting listening nonetheless.
  21. From what I observed PD he moved well. I might have even posted during the match that he crumbed a ball of the deck and instinctively used his left foot and hit a teammate in the goal square with a 40 metre bullet of a pass. If he possesses traits like this he might just develop nicely.
  22. Agree, we should try and limit his effectiveness forward of centre, don’t allow him to kick 2-3 goals like Geelong did.
  23. They should gaffer tape a couple of IPhones to the posts, much better clarity than the crap they use now.
