  1. His handpass technique looks similar to McKenzie's too (albeit more effective).
  2. He won't just start in the centre square, he will be at Gawn's feet.
  3. I thought I muted you? Oh well, never too late.
  4. He looks like McKenzie, is the same number as McKenzie, has the same handball technique like McKenzie and isn't confident to kick like McKenzie. Other than that he looks good.
  5. I can't wait to see Fyfe, Neale and Fremantle's first round picks for two years running around in the red and blue.
  6. What about if we win five games this year then win the flag next year, will he still walk?
  7. Why, are we planning on trading him to Carlton?
  8. He does because he's a phlog, but in terms of generating news I would say a lot of media want to him to leave. Plus, because he would be leaving Melbourne and we are a soft target so the story would write itself.
  9. The media so badly want Hogan to leave.
  10. Oliver's "physical superiority"? He was fat as a junior and still managed to dominate, imagine how much better he will be when he puts on more muscle.
  11. I can see him playing the first four or five games at Casey to get up to speed before playing a dozen or so games for Melbourne this year.
  12. We had trust in the guy who drafted them, if he did his job properly he would have identified this and never recruited them in the first place.
  13. As someone said earlier, the common trend with most of those players in the photo is they aren't natural competitors. Viney, Kent, Salem, Hogan, T. McDonald, Petracca, Brayshaw, Oliver, vandenBerg, Tyson, N. Jones, Gawn, Stretch, ANB, Jetta and Harmes all are naturally far more competitive.
  14. I wasn't saying "please leave".
  15. That would be the worst thing that could happen to the AFL.
  16. What I find amazing is that Clayton Oliver stormed into top 3 contention without a single game being played. Therefore, even if Toumpas was touted earlier as a higher pick there's no reason it couldn't change.
  17. You don't know anything about football because you don't go to watch training. Watching games isn't the same as training.
  18. Here's a tip Billy, Hawthorn and Geelong see action in September because of what they did in November many years ago.
  19. Parish could be an A+ player, but I know Oliver will be an A grade player.
  20. Oliver's body shape has already changed a lot but I can see it changing even more over the course of this pre-season.
