  1. I also spoke to Dom Tyson, as reported on club website, a calf strain He reckons another week, running 3/4 pace today, as expected totally [censored] off at the timing
  2. Reckon Goodwin will go with a recognizable side and do what he did last year, anybody who stands out in Casey practice games will get a go ahead of non performers or injuries in JLT, eg Hannan
  3. Great report @Demon Jack the medium sized forward role is up for grabs Melksham put his marker down in AFLX, Hannan has runs on the board from last year, Kent is now fully fit, Pedo wants a game and there are the resting mids All the above lifted for today's session
  4. 38 players on the track today, so interesting who plays first JLT. Baker, Spargo and Filipovic are on a plane, assume Tassie early for a bit of community work
  5. Viney did most of the session including a box on with Harmes, Gawn and Brayshaw On Weids, spoke to him, did whole main session, ankle was leftover from Junior days, just wouldn't behave so op, no ongoing issue, apart from strapping it up, absolutely cherry ripe after being 'looked after' by Crossy
  6. A rather emotive post, Nev was not surprised to be delisted, had nothing to do with Neeld, rather his rotten run with injury, suspension and form Roos offeted him a lifeline, he took it, had a decent run with injury and worked his arse off
  7. I speak to Jack at every session I get to, last time I spoke to him he said he was right on track and @Earl Hood was very specific, next time I am next to Mark Stevens at training will give his mike a tweak
  8. He said he was expecting to be with main group this week, will ask Bellieve today was just a low key turnover of the limbs with Wednesday as main session, maybe, as we play on Saturday And the return of AFLX players
  9. At work but will be there for full session on Wednesday, complete with uninsightful comments on training drills, gossip, gun and rig watching and blurry photos
  10. If you are worried about how either strip looks, go to Instagram and Flashman36 and see how good Flash's twins playing Auskick look
  11. Went last night, and agree with others, better live than TV Confirmed a few points I had gleaned from training They are listening to the tackling coach we have brought in from Storm Melksham up forward is going to be a nightmare matchup, can't leave him alone from 60 metres out Harmes has taken his footy up another notch Nev told me he was feeling good and ready to go Seen similar plays at training, this was an upmarket training after all, but Goodwin demands constant effort and we saw that last night and in Hawthorn game a decided lift in intent
  12. @faultydet I asked Craig Jennings the club's approach to AFLX 'to win it', I like a man of his word
  13. The one thing the game showed we have tackling as a priority even in this game, actually more interesting than I thought to watch live
  14. That was the idea after the cluttered design, we were lucky we didn't get Schwab's original design, that was more cluttered I was part of a focis group invited to input on what design we would like to see
  15. The symbols Catalan flag/Aussie Strars, Cross of St George (which is symbol of the city of Barcelona)/Trident, Soccer Ball/Footy etc, besides which I asked Schwab straight out and he said yes
  16. It was 'copied' from Barcelona Fc https://goo.gl/images/HcR24s It was changed as part of PJ's cleansing
  17. Yes he did , put an opinion expect it to be not agreed with, Robbo does a lot more than post match onterviews
  18. What have I told you about using phrases like that on here Drunkin Think Nev is there to steady the ship at the back and Tommy Mc to get used to being a target up forward The rest more or less pick themselves Hunt has had one or two slight hiccups so understand his omission Not sure why JKH didn't get a run
  19. Hunter S Thompson was scathing about everything, pity he is not around for an opinion piece on Trump
  20. Couldn't check it out or Wednesday, working so I can go and give the AFLX a squiz on Friday night
  21. No Jeff is fine, doing a lot of extra running, tweaked a rib early on preaseason, but that cleared up Just ticks of the sessions, apart from dumping Dion J when doing tackling drill a couple of weeks ago, showing he was still top dog
  22. DC Weed, Hannan, Smith x 2 etc could be with main group , but we do things properly now and they are left in the more than capable hands of Daniel Cross to attempt to kill them each rehab session. Spoke to Smith x 2 and Weed, they are nearly on.par with rest of squad as far as base fitness goes Tyson tweaked something on uWednesday so rehab We only have 3 'in doubt' at moment, McKenna AVB and of course Viney but he is now top speed straight line running so he is on his way
  23. Balic is another one on a tightly controlled program, building up his base fitness, so one session main group then maybe a rehab etc etc the Machine/Doc/Crossy is in charge of it
  24. Couldn't attend today, working, any feedback on how Gawn went
  25. You are being totally unfair on Max and he will surprise you They have brought in Mark Bradtke to assist with the big man agility and with another full pre season under his belt Max's aerobic capacity has gone to another level And I thought as a track watcher you would see Max working on the facets of the game you reckon he has shorcomings in
