Essendon VFL v Casey Demons - VFL Round 13
Satyriconhome replied to WERRIDEE's topic in Melbourne Demons
Que?, Jeff Garlett just lost form at the wrong time, he is doing his role at VFL level, obviously not well enough to be banging the door down to get back into the AFL side Dion was treading water in the forward half, club moved him back, with Nev Jetta tutoring, now enjoying his footy as you can see -
Essendon VFL v Casey Demons - VFL Round 13
Satyriconhome replied to WERRIDEE's topic in Melbourne Demons
Viney works his arse off at training on his kicking, maybe he recognises it needs work -
I know your point, you were surprised why Jackson wasn't involved, the Board picks the CEO, they make seek informal advice from the incumbent if required, but they pick, same as any business, as soon as PJ told me he had no input, not surprised with Bartlett's words I can't understand why you are surprised, I am surprised by the fact that you don't seem to think the club is a business any more, when everybody from the Chairman uses the words "the industry we are in", not the sport
-
I am not surprised he wasn't involved, not sure why you are We did nearly fold years ago This is business now, it is 2018, not meat raffles any more I asked him a direct question and got a direct answer, trust him not to [censored] to me, which was the case

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 15
Satyriconhome replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Talked to him already, as per the article, he knows he drifts out of games and needs to put the same effort in for 4 qtrs, knows he has the ability, just getting the application going On that note, expect the big angry bear called Hogan, to be just that on Sunday -
Sorry chap the administrative side is a buisness we have CEO, CFO and COO, not sure which bit confuses you Wilson did not name the 'influential' Melbourne 'supporters' so rumour I asked PJ would he be ticking off the appointment before it was announced and straight out 'to a supporter' he said no, a board decision, why I find the article a load of [censored]
-
That was my first conversation, approached at training, rock and a hard place, says and does too much is then interfering
-
That's a terrible way to talk about yourself Moonie
-
It's not friendship, I talk to him at functions and training, like a lot of the other players, spoke to at least six on Thursday, of course it was about the World Cup with Christian Salem
-
This is Wilson, she has form, half of it is unsubstantiated rumour, as you can see, as per norm, she doesn't name names Normal business doesn't get the outgoing CEO to tick off the incoming
-
This is Caroline Wilson I have, he is approachable at functions etc, it's just supporters don't approach, always seems to have the best intentions for the Club

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 15
Satyriconhome replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hey @stevethemanjordan -
Even had a bit of fun
-
You really do need to speak to the players like myself and @Earl Hood Tommy is fine, no niggle or pain whatsoever, but the decision to play is not his, due for another run on Saturday He also had a good look at his GPS data before he left and seemed very satisfied with it

Craig Jennings: Backline Continually Evolving
Satyriconhome replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
As others say, there was no need to read it -
From training it looks like minimal changes but who know with Goody
-
I spoke to Tmac at training, decision not his, he feels fine but no risk policy, how he pulls up on Saturday as Goody said Nev is fine

Wiseblood me old chum, never use the word hate, such an emotive word This place is entertaining, some of the twaddle from so called experts is world class, some couldn't debate if their life depended on it, resort to insults or disingenuous replies I am not justifying my opinion, it is my opinion, it is neither right or wrong, nobody's opinion is wrong, you just either agree or disagree with it, it is whether you are willing or can explain in a lucid way, or for some on here in monosyllabic sentences as to why you disagree I thought Tyson was ok, he was part of a midfield that made an improvement of all facets of midfield work on the previous 2 weeks, I thought the whole team performed admirably, just the inside 50 entries were poor and we resorted to bombing it in Whether any changes are going to occur, who knows, Goodwin has shown all season he will make changes, only change I can see possibly is another tall in defence
-
Lacked at the weekend? I take it by that statement you didn't watch the game The fwd 50 entries were horrible, we dominated in every other facet, but goals win games This is a Public Forun populated by footy know alls who in the old days pre internet would be the guy or gal who bored the arse of everybody else at the footy club bar or local RSL with their superior footy knowledge Needing to justify my opinion on here is laughable

Casey Demons v Coburg - VFL Round 12
Satyriconhome replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
We have 44 players who can develop, doesn't matter the name or age, we may lose a couple at the end of the season, but that will be the decision of the FD who have the best handle on platers abilities A case in point being Dion Johnstone, had a think about him, moved him to defence, like having a new player -
Casey Demons v Coburg - VFL Round 12
Satyriconhome replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
That last bit is your opinion, I don't agree with it, it's not wrong, I just don't agree with it Blind loyalty has nothing to do with it I think we have those players developing Gaff is not the answer -
He got caught coz nobody told him he was hot, check out his gesture, so 1 instance, justified????
-
What if he stays in, you do the same, as if None of the experts on here have any idea, we have opinions Bit hard to take that realisation for some

Casey Demons v Coburg - VFL Round 12
Satyriconhome replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
I get that misinterpretation, misquoted, paraphrased all the time, interesting no? I interpreted the post that way -
See I have an opinion that I thought Tyson played his role, as backed up by Goody's comments, but my opinion is wrong because you thought Tyson was poor which must be correct, so why was he poor or are you going to cop out?
