  1. last i heard he was doing off leg training full time and going to start weight bearing and running in the next few weeks
  2. even if we win a few games we have been a bottom 4 quality side for 7 years
  3. Definitely a winnable game. Out: Davey, Nicholson In: Viney, Taggert (worth a look at AFL level).
  4. ladder position comes into it, if he left i would expect a pick around 30 as compo
  5. If we could get Adams for Jamar and a pick I would be stoked! especially if we get a priority pick and add two more gun mids that was as well
  6. Gillies Davis Crouch Magner Tynan Sellar Rodan Davey Trade bait Jamar Tapscott Strauss Pederson just a guess but I would suspect we are looking at 10 or more list changes again
  7. His biggest issue I think is the lack of a clear role within the team, how can we expect him to grow into a role when it's different every other week.
  8. We deserve a PP and i'd be surprised if we didn't get one, we have been shocking for seven years, we now have the systems in place to deal better with trying to bring out young talent, two top 5 picks would be nice.
  9. for anyone needing a smile, scum dog millionaire has 3 touches at half time.
  10. Omeara and hogan would have clubs softening to selecting these players we could do very well
  11. if roos is out, move on to choco
  12. I thought he has been improving, but then seeing a stress fracture during the pre season and having experienced one myself I can sort of understand the way it could be an issue. he is still only 22 and was a number 2 pick so plenty of talent
  13. I am very confident at the end of their respective careers Jimmy Toumpas will have been a better player than Ollie Wines Wines was ready to go, but Jimmy was super impressive in my opinion today, tough conditions against the best opposition going and he stood up.
  14. I understand your frustration but he is clearly playing injured, a stress fracture is something that could potentially be uncomfortable for a long time and I would say it is having an impact but he still is getting over 20 touches a game and had 5 tackles so he is justifying his place at this stage, to say he isn't good enough is making a judgement without a lot of information to really know what's going on with the young man.
  15. I forgot about him for a second there, reminds me of a goddard/mundy type player and would be a really good get, now that you mention it I would be more inclined to take him and aish simply because of the potential go home factor with sheed
  16. I certainly have nothing but respect for Crowley as a player but I feel that most of the trouble with tappy is he has never had a defined role within the team they should decide if he is a defender or a defensive forward or whatever and just stick to it, I personally think he is a half forward flank who can be injected into the midfield for abit of physicality and he is capable of being a good player, never going to be a star but that's okay.
  17. I wonder how tappy would go in a Crowley sort of role? he certainly has the strong body to stand up in the contest and keep his opponent out
  18. Just recruit gary ablett, jaeger O'meara and and an 18 year old simon black job done
  19. I think he has abit going for him, more than some of the players on the list I would say will certainly be moved on, trade bait or kept on for one more year, i'd rather give him the one more year but if a good offer is made for him it would be a good option too.
  20. For mine it's Aish all the way, he's all class but Sheed is my second pick, followed by Kelly, Billings and Dunstan if we get a PP and land Aish and Sheed I will be a very happy camper
  21. We knew the second he suffered the stress fracture this pre season we could almost write this year off in terms of break out potential, I have absolute confidence that he is going to be a very good player for us 21 touches and 5 tackles today in such a tough game for every one of our players is a pretty solid return there are far more players worth worrying about in my opinion than trenners.
  22. He is abit like Scott Pendelbury in that when he has the ball his skills mean he will be able to open sides up and do damage, Clark Dawes and Hogan are going to love seeing him with ball in hand through the middle for years to come.
